JUST FASHION & SHOPIFY
Native integration for Shopify and Shopify Plus: matrix catalogue, real-time availability, multi-store management and automated fulfilment.
The Perfect Integration for Your Fashion E-Commerce
Shopify is the leading global e-commerce platform, used by millions of brands. Just Fashion has integrated natively with Shopify and Shopify POS since 2019, with a high-performance connector designed specifically for the requirements of the fashion industry.
The integration automatically synchronises matrix products (size/colour), handles metafields, tags and multilingual descriptions, and transfers the base price list on which Shopify builds market pricing and the tax treatment of international sales, both EU (OSS/IOSS) and non-EU.
When a customer buys, the order is downloaded into the ERP, availability is updated instantly across all other channels and the warehouse receives the picking list.
This is not a simple product export: Shopify becomes the showcase of the company catalogue, while master data, price lists, stock, orders and documents remain governed by a single system.
Just Fashion is a Shopify Partner: the integration is developed and maintained in house, following the evolution of the platform and of the tools Shopify makes available to brands.
No double data entry, from the collection to the store.
Data is created once in Just Fashion and reused everywhere: master data, images, copy, prices, stock, orders. Publishing on Shopify is not a second round of data entry, it is the natural continuation of the work already done on the collection.
Data entered only once
Styles, colours, sizes, compositions, images and descriptions live in one place only. Nothing is rewritten on the store and nothing drifts apart between the ERP and the e-commerce.
Automated publishing
Products are created on Shopify one at a time or in bulk, with a process launched by the user or scheduled. The product team decides what to publish and when, it does not redo the work by hand.
Shorter time to market
The collection goes online on the collection's schedule, not on the data entry schedule: the distance between closing the sample collection and the first sale gets shorter.
Shopify, Shopify Plus and Shopify POS
The same connector covers the online store, enterprise multi-store projects and in-store selling, always working from the same product, stock and customer data.
The brand's online store
The collection catalogue is published with styles, size/colour variants, images, descriptions and technical attributes. Sellable stock matches the real warehouse and orders flow back into the ERP automatically.
Enterprise and multi-store projects
For high volumes and international markets. Just Fashion synchronises a base price list, while Shopify Markets handles geopricing, currencies and per-country rules with full flexibility: the store makes the most of Shopify, with no limits imposed by the ERP.
Selling in store
Stores work from the same catalogue and the same availability as the online channel. Shopify POS sales are synchronised into Just Fashion Retail POS, which in this setup acts as the back-end repository: stock is drawn down and sales data flows into the ERP alongside e-commerce and wholesale.
Behind Shopify POS there is Just Fashion Retail
Store transactions do not stay confined to the storefront: in the ERP Retail environment you analyse sales by store, by product and by period, together with every other channel.
From there, whenever the customer asks for it, you issue the sales invoice and transmit it to the Italian SDI e-invoicing system, using the same master data and the same numbering as the rest of the company.
Publishing is decided in Just Fashion
Not everything in the catalogue goes online, and not all at the same time. Style by style and colour by colour, Just Fashion decides what to send to the store and with which attributes. The moment of going live, on the other hand, is a choice: it can be driven by the ERP or left in the hands of the e-commerce team on Shopify.
Publishing and commercial tags
The publish flag controls whether a product is sent to the store. Next to it, the same screen manages the tags that drive the storefront, namely promotions, carryover, limited capsules, featured products, raffles, countdowns and drops, transferred to Shopify as tags and metafields.
Online merchandising is therefore driven by the same collection data, with no parallel work on two systems.
Publishing to Shopify can happen one product at a time or in bulk across entire catalogue selections. The bulk process can be launched manually by the user or scheduled, so that the catalogue aligns itself at set times.
Customisable additional fields
Beyond standard attributes, Just Fashion manages additional fields designed for fashion and configurable to each brand's needs: for example the model's height and the size worn in the photo.
Published on the product page, this information helps the customer judge the fit and choose the right size.
Two publishing modes, the company chooses
Driven by the ERP. The product becomes visible on the store when Just Fashion decides: the online catalogue follows the collection's own timing, with no manual steps on Shopify.
Created as a draft. For companies that prefer to keep editorial control on the store, the integration creates products in Shopify as drafts, complete with variants, images and attributes. The e-commerce team reviews them and publishes them from Shopify whenever it wants.
Image management, with AI support
In fashion e-commerce, photography is half the job. Just Fashion manages images directly on the product master data: a grid by style and colour where the shots destined for the store are uploaded, ordered and assigned.
Every colour with its own set of photos
For each variant you define the default image, the front and back views, the colour/fabric swatch and up to ten sales images, in the exact order in which they should appear on the product page.
Images are published to Shopify already linked to the correct variant: no manual uploads on the store and no risk of matching a photo to the wrong colour.
AI-assisted image production
Just Fashion integrates artificial intelligence tools to support the production of product images, reducing the time and cost of photo shoots and keeping a consistent visual standard across the whole catalogue.
The benefit is concrete above all for large catalogues and multi-brand companies, where the bottleneck of online publishing is almost always the availability of photography.
Product copy generated with AI
Writing and translating the product pages of an entire collection is one of the activities that slow online publishing down the most. Just Fashion automatically generates product titles and descriptions in several languages, starting from data already held in the master records.
From product data to selling copy
Composition, materials, washes, fit, construction details and origin are already in the ERP: AI turns them into complete selling copy, with the recurring sections of fashion such as composition, garment care and Made in Italy.
Additional fields make it into the copy too: the model's height and the size worn in the photo become a ready-to-use line on the page, “The model is 176 cm tall and wears a size 28”, translated into every language.
The texts always remain editable: the product and marketing teams review and adjust them before publishing.
Custom prompts for the brand's tone of voice
The process is automated by defining custom prompts: tone of voice, length, text structure, terminology to use or avoid, fixed sections and SEO guidance.
Each brand gets product pages consistent with its own identity, across the whole catalogue and in every language, without rewriting anything by hand.
Published in the right language for each market
Titles and descriptions are transferred to Shopify in the corresponding language, together with tags, metafields and technical attributes. For companies selling in several countries, opening a new market does not require a new content writing cycle.
Two ways to build the catalogue on Shopify
The structure is not imposed by the connector: it is chosen according to the storefront strategy, the theme in use and the way the brand wants customers to browse colours.
One product per colour
Each colour variant becomes a Shopify product of its own, with its own photos, its own handle and sizes as variants. This is the setup shown in the product page below.
Products belonging to the same style are then linked to each other automatically through Shopify metafields: from one colour's page the customer moves straight to the other colours available.
A single product with all variants
The style becomes one single Shopify product containing every colour and size combination, selectable by the customer on the same page.
It is the more compact choice: one handle per style, a single page to manage and to index, with all variants gathered under the same product.
The Shopify product, complete from minute one
Not a rough draft to be finished by hand. The product created by Just Fashion reaches Shopify with all the information needed for selling, for the warehouse and for international shipping.
A meaningful SKU built from style, material, colour and size, plus EAN13 barcode, handle, vendor and product type: every variant is recognisable and traceable all the way to the warehouse.
Title, description, details and metafields arrive filled in and in the language of each market, with images already linked to the colour variant and in the intended order.
Tags are generated in a structured way by season, gender, category, macro category, colour, size grid and material, and become the filters and collections of the storefront.
Weight, packaging, inventory by location, country of origin and HS code are on the product from the moment it is created: the very data needed to ship and to handle sales outside the EU.
The data international checkout needs is already there
Country of origin, HS code and weight are exactly the information Shopify uses to calculate duties and DDP shipping. Filling them in by hand across thousands of variants is not realistic: coming from the ERP, they are on every product from day one.
The data flow between Just Fashion and Shopify
Synchronisation is two-way and continuous. Just Fashion remains the system of record for products, prices and stock; Shopify remains the sales channel. No data is entered twice.
Just Fashion → Shopify
What the ERP publishes to the store
- →Products and variants. Styles, colours and sizes become matrix products with their SKUs, with no manual creation on the store.
- →Images and content. Photos already linked to the colour variant (default, views, swatch and sales images), together with titles, descriptions and technical attributes, in several languages.
- →Tags and metafields. Compositions, materials, measurements, fit notes and the data used for filters, collections and SEO.
- →Base price list. The ERP synchronises the catalogue's reference price; from there Shopify Markets handles per-country prices and currencies, and Shopify applies VAT according to the destination country.
- →Real-time availability. Once the product is created, stock on Shopify is updated by the ERP at every warehouse movement, whichever channel it comes from.
Shopify → Just Fashion
What the store sends back to the ERP
- ←Orders in real time. Shopify calls Just Fashion at the moment of the sale: the order lands in the ERP with lines, sizes, quantities, discounts and shipping details.
- ←Customer records. The e-commerce customer is created or updated automatically in the company master data.
- ←Payment data and references. Amounts, method and order references stay linked to the documents that follow.
- ←POS sales. Shopify POS sales are synchronised with Just Fashion Retail POS, which stores the data and updates stock.
- ←Returns. Returns generate the warehouse inbound movement and the related documents. (to be confirmed against the current implementation)
What happens when a customer buys
An automatic sequence: the only human step is physically picking the garment and one confirmation click.
-
Shopify sells and collects payment
The customer buys and pays on the store. Shopify calls Just Fashion and transmits the order to the ERP, in real time.
-
Just Fashion creates the customer and the order
The customer record is created or updated and the sales order is generated in the ERP with lines, sizes, quantities and shipping details.
-
Stock allocation
The item is committed in the warehouse and availability is updated immediately on Shopify and on every other channel.
-
Picking list to the warehouse
The system generates the picking list and the warehouse operator picks the garment.
-
One click confirms the shipment
On confirmation the shipping invoice is issued, the sales order is fulfilled, stock is drawn down and the courier AWB label is printed, generated through the integration with the GSPED platform.
-
Fulfilment and tracking on Shopify
At the same moment the order is fulfilled in Shopify with the tracking number: Shopify automatically sends the shipping confirmation email to the customer.
Shipping runs through GSPED
Just Fashion is integrated with GSPED, a multi-carrier platform connecting more than 300 couriers and services: it provides the waybill in the format each courier requires, label printing and the tracking number that is then reported back to Shopify.
The benefit for the company is the freedom to choose and change courier by market, weight or service type without touching the integration.
From catalogue to invoice.
Every step uses the same information: the product created in Just Fashion is the same one that is sold, picked, shipped and invoiced. No data is entered twice, at any point in the chain, and that is what shortens time to market.
A base price list from the ERP, the flexibility of Shopify Markets.
Just Fashion publishes a clean base price list on Shopify, always aligned with the catalogue. Market management then stays where it works best: with Shopify Markets you define per-country prices, currencies, rounding and tax rules, with all the flexibility the platform offers.
It is a deliberate architectural choice: the ERP guarantees the integrity of product and stock data without constraining the store's international pricing strategy.
VAT handling also stays with Shopify, which applies the correct treatment according to the destination country, distinguishing intra-EU sales (OSS/IOSS schemes) from non-EU ones.
For the countries where it applies, shipments can also be handled DDP: Shopify calculates duties and taxes automatically at checkout, so the customer pays everything when ordering and receives the goods with no costs on delivery.
How the roles are split
- ✓Just Fashion: catalogue, base price list, stock, orders and documents
- ✓Shopify Markets: per-country geopricing, currencies and rounding
- ✓Shopify: VAT by destination country, EU (OSS / IOSS) and non-EU
- ✓Shopify: DDP shipping with duties calculated automatically at checkout
One stock. Every channel.
Shopify does not work on a separate warehouse. The availability published on the store is the same that feeds wholesale, agents, stores and marketplaces, with the option to distinguish source warehouses and allocation rules by channel or market.
Just Fashion can govern several Shopify stores at the same time for the same company. This is the typical situation of multi-brand groups: each label has its own site, its own catalogue, its own price lists and its own identity, while master data, warehouse and order cycle stay in a single system.
The same applies to companies opening a store dedicated to a country or a language: you add a channel, not another management system, and you avoid overselling and manual alignment between platforms.

- ✓Multi-brand groups: one site per label, one single ERP
- ✓Multiple warehouses and logistics allocation

Everything that enters the ERP ends up in Business Intelligence.
E-commerce orders, store sales, wholesale, stock, shipments and margins all flow into the same data foundation. From there, Just Fashion Business Intelligence lets you build countless reports, with no manual extractions and no spreadsheets to reconcile.
It is the natural completion of the principle running through this page: if there is only one set of data, there is only one analysis, and it covers every channel together rather than e-commerce on one side and stores on the other.
The same data can also be read with the tools already in use in the company, such as Power BI, Looker Studio, Qlik, Tableau or Zoho Analytics.
